Barnsley has a long history of Glass Bottle Production
As you look at the sparkling new glass bottles and jars on the shelves in supermarkets today, it is difficult to imagine the part of the glass from which is was made has been used for over 20 years.
A lot of bottle production was carried out by several firms in the borough these firms have come and gone but there is one which still produces glass in Barnsley
